Newport Hills Community Club 2007 Goals
by President Gary Thramer

Personal Slogan: "Random acts of community service", to facilitate, promote and celebrate individuals willing to take action, in any small way, that help a neighbor or improve our community.

  1. Continue to build upon the foundation laid by all prior community club volunteers and leaders by promoting an atmosphere that fosters personal growth and pride in community service. I am committed to helping make our neighborhood the best that it can be for all residents with the resources available.

  2. Increase the number of active volunteers within the community club.

  3. Facilitate the growth and improvement of our community events.

  4. Work with city, county and state agencies that may be involved with projects or programs that impact our community to insure that we, as a community, can have a voice in matters that affect our quality of life.

  5. Work cooperatively with the businesses of Newport Hills for the mutual benefit of all residents and business owners.

Week of October 31st, 2005:

There was insufficient time at our 10/25/2005 Candidate Forum to ask everyone's questions and the candidates have agreed to field the remaining questions in writing if at all possible. Since the candidates have less than two weeks until the election and all have very busy schedules, this is very generous. We have asked them to keep their responses brief and have limited their comments in fairness to all.  Click on the candidates name to bring up the PDF file of their responses.
